Team Manager Training – DI Season Kick Off

Come early enough to grab a donut, coffee and/or tea in the cafeteria. 

We at MADI have been working to revamp our fall Team Manager training. This training has been on hiatus for a few years but we are back with new sessions and a new configuration that we think will really work well for everyone.  This training is for new and seasoned team managers alike and we even have a session for coordinators.  We highly recommend that all of the MADI Team Managers attend this training so you can be the best facilitator for your team(s)!

This year we are offering two half-day tracks, one focused on Instant Challenge and the other focused on Central Challenge/Managing Teams.  These tracks will take place both in the morning and again after lunch so you can choose to do the Instant Challenge track in the morning and then the Central Challenge/Managing Teams in the afternoon or the reverse. Here are the descriptions for each of UPDATED sessions within the Central Challenge/Managing Teams block  and the UPDATED schedule for the day.  The Instant Challenge block doesn’t have any specific sessions – the entire block runs for 3 hours.


7:15- 8:00              Registration

8:00-8:30               Welcome Session


8:30-11:30             Instant Challenge  OR  Central Challenge/Managing Teams


11:30-12:30           Roundtable Q&A with Regional Directors and Challenge Masters

(bring your own bagged lunch)


12:30 – 3:30          Instant Challenge  OR  Central Challenge/Managing Teams


There is a $20 registration fee for each team manager, but if you register before October 27th you will receive an Instant Challenge kit to use with your teams filled with the supplies you need for the task-based challenges!!!

You have three options for payment – credit card via PayPal, with a check via a Purchase Order or with just a check.  If you use a purchase order, you must send email a copy of it to our treasurer (denisemckenna7@gmail.com) by Oct. 27th.  You may also choose the PO option if you want to pay via check but your check must be received by our treasurer by the same date (Oct. 27th).  Any orders that don’t have a check or a purchase order on file by October 27th may lose their reservation unless other arrangements have been made with the treasurer.

  • Any wild animals (could be a redundant statement…)
